It’s never a bad idea to look back on the previous year to recount the highs and lows across the professional wrestling industry. For the first time ever, Daily DDT took to a vote to create our inaugural “Daily DDT End of Year Awards.”

The nomination process ran for two weeks in early December, with two additional weeks for voting through December 31. Nearly 30 percent of our writing team responded and brought forth some interesting winners. Let’s dive right into the winners and top vote-getters for each category. The list includes first, second, and third place winners and includes any ties.

Men’s Match of the Year
