Lio Rush is heading to TERMINUS.

News broke Sunday morning that the multiple-time champion will take part in TERMINUS 2 on February 24.

Rush is the second big name to receive the “Welcome to Terminus” graphic on social media in recent days. Former WWE NXT North American Champion, Swerve, was announced for the showcase days prior.

Rush’s name was a part of big news on Saturday when he revealed that he will not re-sign with All Elite Wrestling when his contract comes up on February 14.

“I will say this, this is no secret, this is me pointing out the obvious; I’m a lone wolf,” Rush said in an exclusive interview with Fightful Select. “I go where I want, I like putting things on my resume and I like working different places and wrestling anybody and everybody.”

Rush’s resume is quite long as it features several of the big promotions across professional wrestling. Before joining AEW in 2021, rush picked up the WWE NXT Cruiserweight Championship, MLW World Middleweight Championship, and MCW Rage Television Championship.

The announcement of Rush not re-signing created speculation around whether his public response to Tony Khan’s tweet about Big Swole to start the year played a factor in the decision for either party or if there is more to that conversation. Neither of which have been confirmed by any statements or reports.
