Jonathan Gresham announces he is out of BOLA due to Covid-19
Jonathan Gresham announced on Friday that he will not make it to Los Angeles to compete in the Battle for Los Angeles.
“Unfortunately, I will not be making it to LA tomorrow for BOLA,” Gresham tweeted on Friday. “I recently caught covid, and as a result, I had to miss GCW at the Hammerstein Ballroom. I am still testing positive as of today and don’t want to put any colleagues/fans in harm’s way.”
Gresham was supposed to take part on the PPV The WRLD to take on Blake Christian for the ROH World Championship. Gresham was pulled from the match and replaced by Lio Rush, who was defeated by Christian after 12 minutes of action.
Gresham was scheduled to take part tournament that has launched the careers of many top stars. He was scheduled to face off against Davey Richards. Other participants include Mike Bailey, Bandido, JONAH, Buddy Matthews, Black Taurus, JD Drake, Alex Shelley, Lee Moriarty, Lio Rush, Jack Cartwheel, Daniel Garcia, Kevin Blackwood, Rey Horus, and Aramis.
PWG has not announced a replacement as of this moment, but the news is expected to come to this unexpected change. Tickets are available for sale.
