So far, AJ Styles is having a great WWE career ever since his debut at the Royal Rumble in 2016. That career is going to continue for another couple more years since he recently signed a multi-year contract extension with WWE. And even though he could get a big deal somewhere else, he made the right choice by staying with WWE.

AJ Styles will stay with WWE for a couple more years

Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful reported on Feb. 22 that Styles agree on a multi-year deal that is around $3 million per year. The contract also includes some financial accommodation for bus travel. He was rumored to be a free agent this summer.

This contract that the WWE offered to Styles means that he will be in a good position in the company. He will be in main events and big matches. They see tremendous value in Styles. And he will most likely retire as a WWE Superstar when his contract expires.

Should AJ Styles go somewhere else instead of re-signing with WWE?

Don’t get me wrong I would love to see Styles in AEW. I would love to see him face CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Hangman Page, Adam Cole, Kenny Omega, Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara, Keith Lee, MJF and etc.

And I would love to see him back in Impact Wrestling where he made his name or he goes back to NJPW and he can return to Bullet Club while having five-star matches. If he didn’t go to NJPW, he probably wouldn’t have the career in WWE like he is having right now. He might not be in the company if he didn’t go to NJPW first.

AJ Styles made the right decision staying with WWE

But he should stay in WWE because they need AJ Styles. Styles is a great wrestler and he can still give out great matches. And they need someone to beat Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship. He can be that guy.

Even though they need to rebuild him a bit after the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match at Elimination Chamber, Styles will be fine. He’s rumored to face Edge at WrestleMania 38. That’s a big match at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

If he beats Edge, that could lead the way for Styles to be the one to dethrone Reigns. If he does not beat Reigns, he can be a key player in the company. Styles can have a big match or help the younger guys by putting them over.

Styles is a former two-time WWE Champion, three-time United States Champion, a former Intercontinental Champion, and a former Raw Tag Team Champion. He is also a Triple Crown Champion and a Glam Slam Champion.

Next. Roman Reigns must defeat Brock Lesnar clean at WrestleMania 38. dark

Even though it would’ve been cool to see AJ Styles in AEW or back in either NJPW or Impact Wrestling, Styles made the right choice by staying with the WWE. He is rumored to face Edge at WrestleMania and after, he would do bigger things like facing Roman Reigns later this year.
