WrestleMania 38 is upon us! Night one took place last night on Saturday, April 2nd. It saw a ton of solid matches and solid wrestling. The show saw a new champion crowned, and a couple of big returns. These are the top three moments of the show.

3. Stone Cold Opens Up One More Can Of Whoop A**

In the main event of last night’s show, we saw Kevin Owens host the KO Show with a very special guest: Stone Cold Steve Austin. However, during the show, Owens said that he didn’t invite Austin to the KO show to talk; he invited him to ask him to have a no holds barred match.

Austin accepted and the two had a match. This was a very fun moment at WrestleMania. For what it was, it was a lot of fun to see Austin wrestle one more time, and most likely his last time, in his home state of Texas. Austin said it best himself, “I wrestled my first match in Dallas, TX and I will wrestle my last match in Dallas, TX.”

2. The Raw Women’s Championship Match

Wow. Just wow. That is all I can say about that match. Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch had arguably the best match on the show. The match started off extremely hot and didn’t disappoint. Both women gave each other the best they could to gain the top title on Raw.

When all was said and done and the dust settled, we saw a new Raw Women’s Champion crowned when Belair pinned Lynch after an absolute war. This was one of the best matches of the weekend so far and could very well be one of the best overall after all is said and done tomorrow.

1. The American Nightmare Returns

Was there really any other way to end this? The rumors were running rampant ahead of WrestleMania as to who Seth Rollins would be wrestling at WrestleMania. Those questions were answered last night and this was arguably the biggest return in WWE in recent memory.

While Rollins was waiting in the ring to see who would be his opponent, the pyro hit, and the lights went out. Then all of a sudden you hear “wrestling has more than one royal family,” and out comes Cody Rhodes. The place went nuts and this was arguably the biggest moment of WrestleMania.

Next. WrestleMania Night One: New Champions and A Massive Return. dark

Rhodes’ match with Rollins was extremely good as well. Rhodes and Rollins left it all out in the middle of the ring which saw Rhodes be the victor. However, something tells me the Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins storyline is far, far from over.
