AEW Rampage: Jade Cargill is 30-0 and ISHII debuts

Adam Cole w/Orange Cassidy and Rocky Romero vs. ISHII

On Dynamite, the AEW X NJPW show, Forbidden Door, was officially confirmed. In light of this show, Cole announced he would be facing the “Stone Cold Pitbull” in an Owen Hart Cup qualifying match.

Cole attempted shoulder tackles to no avail, but ISHII took Cole down with one. Cole got him in the corner and left him, ISHII chopped him and Cole dropped to the mat. On the outside, ISHII hit him with forearms. ISHII hit the ringpost after going for a lariat and Cole shoved him into the barricade. Back in the ring, Cole pummeled him a few times before putting him in a rear chinlock. ISHII got to his feet and they exchanged forearms.

ISHII head-butted Cole’s gut twice. Cole backed ISHII into a corner and slapped him a few times. ISHII got up and Cole continued with forearms. An undeterred ISHII slapped him into the opposite corner and he followed up with two power slams. ISHII set Cole up for a pop-up powerbomb, but Cole reversed and got ISHII up on his shoulders. He put him on his shoulders for a second time to hit him with a backbreaker.

During the break, Cole maintained control at first. Cole went up top and ISHII punched him in the gut. They exchanged blows and ISHII fell to the mat. After the break, ISHII went back up and superplexed him. ISHII went for a sliding lariat, but Cole laid down and hit ISHII in the face. Cole went for the same move, but missed. ISHII hit a sliding lariat. Cole with a pump kick and a neck breaker.

Cole set up Panama Sunrise, but ISHII moved. ISHII hit him with a headbutt and an enzuguri. Cole connected with a superkick, but ISHII followed with a lariat. Jay White threw Romero over the steps. Cole low blowed him with the ref distracted and followed with The Boom for the win.

Lance Archer vs. Serpentico

Serpentico went for a tope sucidia, but Archer knocked him down. Serpentico celebrated and paid for it.

Archer wins with the Blackout. After the bell, Archer continued to beat up Serpentico. He pretended to conduct a symphony while hitting repeated chokeslams.

Eddie Kingston vs. Daniel Garcia

Everyone is banned from ringside per Kingston’s instructions. Kingston got Garcia in the corner and started beating him. They moved to another corner and hit Garcia with a running boot. On the outside, Kingston chopped Garcia and threw him into the steps. Kingston slammed his head into the steps. Garcia hit Kingston in the gut.

In the ring, Garcia rammed his knees in Kingtson’s leg and spine. Kingston chopped Garcia twice. In the corner, Garcia shouldered him in the stomach. Garcia held his wrist and kneed him in the gut. Garcia continued to hit Kingston at his encouragement, but Kingston chopped him to the mat. In the corner, Garcia bit the Mad King in the head. Kingston bit his ear in retaliation.

On the outside, Garcia ran Kingston shoulder first into the ring post. It went to picture-in-picture and Garcia continued to beat Kingston on the outside. Back in the ring, Kingston struggled to stand and Garcia focused on his legs. Kingston kneed Garcia in the gut and put him in a headlock.

After the break, they exchanged chops and forearms. Kingston hit Garcia in the midsection with his knee. Garcia stretched him and elbowed his ribs. Garcia suplexed Kingston and Kingston struggled to get to his feet.

In the corner, Garcia repeatedly stomped Kingston’s body. Kingston hit a back elbow and jumped from the top rope with a knee to the neck. Garcia put him in the Boston Crab and a Sharpshooter. Kingston got to the rope, but Garcia stayed wrapped and the ref had to remove him.

Garcia hit Kingston in the armpit and leaned over him. Kingston poked him in the eye. Garcia followed with an exploder. Kingston hit a backdrop and a spinning back fist for the win.

Kingston took off his belt and a mic. He dropped the belt and sent a message to Jericho.

Jade Cargill w/ “Smart” Mark Sterling vs. Marina Shafir

Cargill came into the match 29-0 and Shafir was 6-0.

Shafir stepped right to Cargill. She swung and missed. She kicked Cargill in the leg and tried to put in a rear choke. Cargill caught Shafir and did a back body drop. Cargill knocked her over the top rope. She put her face first in the guardrail while Red Velvet and Kiera Hogan threw popcorn. While the ref was distracted, they were hitting Shafir.

Back in the ring, Cargill stomped on Shafir’s spine. Cargill then powerslammed her and rolled her into a high stack. Cargill straddled her and punched her. Shafir rolled out and had her ankle. Shafir put her in the front chancery. Cargill again power slammed “The Problem”.

In picture-in-picture, Cargill maintained control. Cargill did pushups and went to hit Shafir, but she was waiting. It didn’t matter as Cargill struck her again and then put her in a headlock. She sent Shafir into the ropes and then shoulder tackled her. Cargill stretched her and dug her knuckles into Shafir’s. Cargill then hit her with a running knee and attempted to pin her opponent. Cargill suplexed Shafir.

After the break, Cargill stretched Shafir again. Shafir picked up her knee and struck it over and over and put her in an ankle lock. Shafir had Cargill’s ankle, but Cargill got to the rope. Shafir wrenched her knee into the ring post. On the outside, she kicked Cargill in the back of the leg. Shafir went after Sterling. Shafir argued with Velvet and Hogan, allowing Cargill to hit her with a big pump kick. Cargill spiked Shafir onto the time keeper’s table, but it no-sold them.

Cargill put Shafir back in the ring and Cargill celebrated with her baddies. Cargill was stepping on Shafir and Shafir put her in an ankle lock and a heel hook. Cargill kicked Shafir in the face and neck until she let go. Cargill hit Jaded to become 30-0.

After the match, balloons and confetti dropped while she celebrated with Velvet and Hogan.
