One of the biggest surprises and most-anticipated cards of the year is the upcoming AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. This show is set for June 26 and will put the top names in All Elite Wrestling against those of the same level from New Japan Pro Wrestling. This show will be a major moment in professional wrestling history, as NJPW gets its biggest feature in the North American wrestling industry to date.

AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door was announced during the April 20 edition of AEW Dynamite. The show was a quick sellout, with pre-sale being on May 5 and selling out in less than an hour. To date, more than 11,000 tickets have been sold for the event. Since the announcement, several names from NJPW have shown up on AEW television, including Hiroshi Tanahashi, Jeff Cobb, and Will Ospreay.

  • Jon Moxley versus Hiroshi Tanahashi in a singles match for the interim AEW World Championship
  • PAC versus Malakai Black versus Miro versus Clark Conners in a Fatal four-way for the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Championship
  • Will Ospreay versus Orange Cassidy in a singles match for the IWGP United States Championship
  • Thunder Rosa versus Toni Storm in a singles match for the AEW Women’s World Championship
  • Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, Minoru Suzuki versus Wheeler Yuta, Eddie Kingston, and Shota Umino in a six-man tag team match
  • FTR versus United Empire versus Roppongi Vice in a three-way, winner takes all tag team match for the Ring of Honor and IWGP tag team championships
  • Zack Sabre Jr versus a mystery opponent in a singles match
  • Young Bucks and El Phantasmo versus Sting, Darby Allin, Hiromu, and Shingo Takagi in an six-man tag match
  • Jay White versus Adam Page versus Adam Cole versus Kazuchika Okada in a fatal four-way for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship

AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door will be available on the Bleacher Report app, FITE TV, and the NJPW streaming service, NJPW World.
