It has been a rocky transition for The Judgement Day since Finn Balor joined the group and Edge was kicked out. They have recently lost Rhea Ripley. Now, Balor and Damian Priest look more like a mockery of the group than the actual group.

The WWE Universe wasn’t that shocked whenever Finn Balor was announced as the newest member of The Judgement Day. Fans had speculated that Balor could join the group outside the ring while in the ring the leader of the group Edge continued to offer a spot in the group to Balor and others. What actually shocked the WWE Universe was when the group turned on their leader and kicked Edge out of the group he created. They beat down Edge and he hasn’t been seen since being betrayed. The Judgement Day members stated that they were tired of being told what to do and that now they would all be treated as equals in the group.

It was honestly strange seeing The Judgement Day without Edge leading the group. The theme music doesn’t even seem to fit the group as much without Edge. As good as Finn Balor is, it wasn’t the same to see him standing where Edge was standing a week before. However, Finn Balor has a history of leading a powerful wrestling stable as the original leader of The Bullet Club. There was still potential for The Judgement Day. Unfortunately, the group lost another member not soon after. Due to personal medical issues, Rhea Ripley was pulled from her scheduled championship match and The Judgement Day was down to two representatives.

Without Rhea Ripley by their side, Finn Balor and Damian Priest look like a decent tag team instead of a dominant stable. They have lost pretty much all of the momenta that they had gained under the leadership of Edge. While there is nobody in the group to blame for the loss of momentum, it is obvious to anybody who is watching that they have lost their direction. Currently, Priest and Balor are feuding with Rey and Dominik Mysterio, who have proven to be a goto feud for anybody that needs some steam. While this could look like a throwaway feud, it could actually be the right feud for everyone involved, including the former leader Edge.

After Finn Balor defeated Rey Mysterio on Raw, The Judgement Day offered Dominik Mysterio a spot with them. Since Dominik arrived in the company a few years ago now, he has been right by his father’s side. It is honestly pretty much Dominik’s whole “gimmick” is that he is Rey’s son. It could do wonders for Dominik’s career to make a major shift. The WWE should continue this feud for a few weeks with Dominik getting beat down by Priest and Balor a few times. Eventually, Dominik should get fed up with being beaten up and turn on his father to join The Judgement Day.

This can give Dominik the opportunity to sink and swim without his father right by his side. However, Dominik won’t be on his one by any means. He would be in good hands with Priest and Balor by his side. He could learn from both men things that his father might not have been able to teach him. He would be able to learn to use his size more from a guy like Priest and Finn Balor has countless wrestling experiences to share with the young Mysterio. The Judgement Day would potentially gain more interest with such a major turn for Dominik to betray his own father in order to join a group of “villains.”

However, you may wonder how this helps everybody involved when Rey Mysterio is betrayed by his soon and Edge is still nowhere to be seen. If you look back in history just a bit, you will see that Edge and Rey Mysterio teamed together and were even the WWE Tag Team Champions for a period in 2002. They have remained good friends for years and Edge has even teamed with Rey and Dominik to face The Bloodline. He is nearly part of the family and Rey would likely say that he was. The Judgement Day taking Dominik away from Rey and taking Edge’s entire group away, the two could come together once again to try and kill what Edge created.

When Ede eventually does return, he is going to need people to have his back. That might not be the easiest task for somebody who spent the last few months making enemies. However, Rey Mysterio is just the guy that could forgive Edge for his misguided actions and stand by his side. Rey and Edge can be determined to destroy The Judgement Day so Edge can kill the abomination he created and Rey would be able to save his son from the group. Although, for the sake of The Judgement Day, they need to fail. The Judgement Day should beat Edge and Rey Mysterio to remind the WWE Universe of their potential dominance.

When it can be so easy to just pull the plug, it wouldn’t be that hard for the WWE to save the group. With the right moves and additions to the group, The Judgement Day can regain the momentum it had. Perhaps we can even have Edge rejoin the group down the line as an equal to his peers after brutally learning his lesson. There are plenty of ways to save The Judgement Day instead of pulling the plug on the group. This is just one of the potential ways to help the group. Who else could potentially join the group and help them out? Well, that sounds like a list for another time. For now, let’s continue to just speculate and hope for the best.
