AEW Dynamite: MJF speaks and more All Out Fallout
AEW Dynamite is back this Wednesday and will be broadcast on TBS from Buffalo, NY, as the flagship program presents its Fallout From All Out episode.
These are wild times in All Elite Wrestling.
The All Out pay-per-view ended with the return of MJF to AEW, and that should have been the biggest story in all of professional wrestling coming out of a very busy weekend.
However, just minutes later it was an afterthought as the backstage implosion between CM Punk, the Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, and others became the talk of the wrestling world.
As the world waits to see just what happens in regards to CM Punk, the show must go on and it will be interesting to see how many people tune into Dynamite on Wednesday because of both MJF’s return and the backstage turmoil in AEW.
Let’s take a look at the announced matches and segments for AEW Dynamite: Fallout from All Out and what to expect from each.
MJF Speaks
At long last, MJF is back in AEW. In what should be an exciting time in AEW as most of their top-tier talent is back on the roster, even the best of stories within the promotion have taken a backseat to the real-life drama that resides within All Elite Wrestling.
And that drama may have thrown a wrench in the CM Punk-MJF program we seemed destined to get as All Out closed.
It is impossible to know just what MJF is going to say on Wednesday night because we have no idea if CM Punk is going to be a part of AEW moving forward. But one thing is for sure, MJF will remind us all very quickly why he is the best in all of professional wrestling on the mic.
Death Triangle vs Best Friends & Orange Cassidy
At Revolution of 2020, Orange Cassidy made his AEW in-ring debut against Pac. It was a night that was full of amazing matches, and this was among one of the best of the night.
Fast forward to today and Pac is the All-Atlantic Champion, Orange Cassidy is every bit as over as he was in 2020, and the two men seem to be destined to meet in a singles match for the All_Atlantic Championship in the very near future.
But first, we will get a trios match between Death Triangle and Best Friends & Orange Cassidy this Wednesday on Dynamite.
While Death Triangle is the more imposing team and should be considered a top threat to the newly introduced Trios Titles, from a Pac versus Orange Cassidy storyline, having the Best friends and OC pick up a win here makes more sense.
Pac has made it clear that he thinks Orange Cassidy is more of a joke than a wrestler. So having Cassidy prove Pac wrong by pinning one of the members of the Lucha Bros will force Pac to reconsider and ultimately defend the All-Atlantic Championship against OC, most likely at the Grand Slam event in a couple of weeks. Winners: Best Friends & Orange Cassidy
Daniel Garcia vs Wheeler Yuta for the ROH Pure Title
Two of the best young wrestlers going today will lock horns for the Ring of Honor Pure Title when Wheeler Yuta defends his title against Daniel Garcia.
Forget about the noise involving Garcia’s loyalty to the Jericho Appreciation Society and his possible transition to becoming a member of the Blackpool Combat Club and let’s just focus on the match itself.
Yuta and Garcia are two examples of young wrestlers with amazing skills that entered AEW without much fanfare but quickly were pushed in a way that has made them very important pieces of the AEW puzzle.
This should be a very good match and the fact that it is taking place in Garcia’s hometown tends to make a title change here very likely.
Putting the ROH Pure Title on Garcia could then further play into the storyline of Garcia being torn between the JAS and BCC as the Pure Title itself is a sign of wrestling and not sports entertainment. Winner: Daniel Garcia
