WWE NXT Deadline 2022 event card and information
Under new leadership, WWE is taking steps to try out “new” things within the promotion. WWE NXT has been a main place of said experimentation with characters, presentations, and more. NXT Deadline 2022 (stylized as DeadL1ne) is the next NXT PLE on the schedule and brings out a few new wrinkles to the promotion.
NXT Deadline is scheduled for Saturday, December 10, from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The event will be available for viewing on the Peacock platform.
One month after WWE welcomed War Games to the main roster, NXT Deadline will bring in an all-new match type into the WWE Universe, the Iron Survivor Challenge. WWE Hall of Famer, Shawn Michaels announced the new match on the November 15 edition of NXT. The rules for the match are as follows:
- Two wrestlers start and every five minutes another enters until all five are in the match.
- After the last wrestler enters, a time limit begins.
- Each time a wrestler is awarded a fall, they earn a point.
- The wrestler on the losing side of the fall goes into the penalty box for 90 seconds.
- The winner of the match is the wrestler with the most falls at the end of the time limit.

- Carmelo Hayes versus JD McDonagh versus Grayson Waller versus Joe Gacy versus Axiom in an Iron Survivor Challenge to determine the number one contender to the NXT Championship
- Zoey Stark versus Cora Jade versus Roxanne Perez versus Kiana James versus Indi Hartwell in an Iron Survivor Challenge to determine the number one contender to the NXT Women’s Championship
- Bron Breakker versus Apollo Crews in a singles match for the NXT Championship
- Pretty Deadly versus The New Day in a tag team match for the NXT Tag Team Championship
- Alba Fyre versus Isla Dawn in a singles match
