AEW All In at Wembley Stadium is set and the first-ever U.K. AEW show has fans looking for major dream matches.

When AEW finally announced their first-ever U.K. show, All In at Wembley Stadium, fans immediately started fantasy booking dream matches. While the show is in August and tickets have yet to go on sale, that hasn’t stopped fans from creating buzz and hyping up which matches they want to see.

With such a stacked roster, and possibly bringing in people from outside of AEW, countless dream matches have the potential to take place in London this year. Here are five dream matches that could happen at All In.

Jamie Hayter vs. Mercedes Moné

Jamie Hayter is the top woman in AEW right now as she is the AEW Women’s World Champion and Mercedes Moné (formerly known as Sasha Banks in WWE) is arguably the top woman in all of pro wrestling right now, who is making waves in the NJPW and Stardom promotions in Japan as the current IWGP Women’s World Champion.

There is no telling whether either woman will still hold their respective championships come All In, however, in terms of AEW, this is the biggest dream match for the women. Two of the very best, are at the top of their games. Hayter is billed from Southampton, England and as the current most popular woman in AEW, would need a huge match for the company’s first U.K. show. Moné has enough star power to create huge hype for this match, and Hayter’s strength against Moné’s quickness would make for a very entertaining match.

This is a match that could occur at Forbidden Door II, however, saving it for All In would make it even more special.

CM Punk vs. Bryan Danielson

If you are a wrestling fan, no matter which companies you watch, you would have probably seen a CM Punk vs Bryan Danielson match. The two have battled in Ring of Honor, IWA-Mid South, Full Impact Pro, and WWE. Their history, whether as rivals or friends, is well documented and despite being in AEW for around the same amount of time, they have never been in an AEW ring at the same time.

Currently, Punk is absent from AEW due to suspension and injury recovery. With his reported but not confirmed return happening soon, fans have been conjuring several dream opponents for him, with Danielson being one of the most popular. Whenever Punk and Danielson are in the ring together, magic is made as they are two of the best wrestlers in the world, and have been for a very long time.

The first meeting between them in an AEW ring deserves to be seen on a big stage.

Bryan Danielson vs. Zack Sabre Jr.

A dream match between the two best technical wrestlers in the world. While this match was scheduled to take place at the first AEWxNew Japan Pro Wrestling Forbidden Door PPV in June of last year, injuries prevented Danielson from competing, and while Claudio Castignoli replaced Danielson and defeated Sabre Jr. in a great match, fans are still left wanting Danielson vs Sabre Jr.

Bryan Danielson has been regarded as the best wrestler in the world for well over a decade and is also considered the best technical wrestler, a title that Zack Sabre Jr. has been looking to take over for many years, and some may say he did that long ago. From 2005 to 2013 Danielson was awarded the Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s ‘Best Technical Wrestler’ award which was aptly renamed the ‘Bryan Danielson Award’, however from 2014 to 2020, the award was won by Sabre Jr. A match between the two would finally settle the argument of who is the best technical wrestler.

The match could very well happen at Forbidden Door II given that Sabre Jr. is signed to NJPW, however, it would feel more fitting for the match to take place at All In, as Sabre Jr. hails from the Isle of Sheppey, England and it would be a great homecoming and would also highlight a British talent at AEW’s first U.K show.

CMFTR vs. The Elite

When All In was announced the potential of CMFTR vs. The Elite was a hot topic. CMFTR made up of CM Punk and FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) against The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson) is one of the biggest matches AEW could ever do. You have two of the best tag teams in the world, FTR and the Young Bucks (Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson) who have had two tremendous matches together, and two of the best singles wrestlers in the world, CM Punk, and Kenny Omega.

The only thing preventing this match from happening is the real-life issues between Punk and The Elite, who Punk infamously called out in his post-All Out media scrum in September of last year, which incited a backstage brawl between them. All parties were then suspended for their actions and stripped of their respective AEW World Championship and AEW World Trios Championships. The Elite returned to AEW in November, while Punk remains absent.

If the real-life issues do not get cleared up, and this match never happens, it would be a huge disappointment for fans and quite possibly the biggest missed opportunity for AEW. When you have six of the best and most popular wrestlers in the world and a potential match between them, you try everything you can to make it happen.

Kenny Omega vs. CM Punk

The biggest dream singles match in AEW as Kenny Omega and CM Punk are two of the best and most polarising wrestlers in modern wrestling. For years many fans have been anticipating a singles bout between them and while it seemed possible at one point, now not so much.

The backstage issues between Punk and The Elite have been well documented since September and the dream of this singles match seems to fade away with each passing day. In a positive way of thinking, there is a lot of time between now and August when apologies could be made and fences could be mended to a point where this match, and others, could happen.

Right now in AEW, there is no bigger match for them to do, and if does not happen, it would be a huge missed opportunity.
