These three names would be fresh opponents for Seth Rollins as the World Heavyweight Champion.

At WWE Night of Champions, Seth Rollins secured the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. This was a major moment for Rollins as he finally gets to a point near the praise he’s received during these last few years. Now, the focus turns to the future and who will be the challengers that stand across from him. Winning a championship is one thing, but the challengers one overcomes truly sets the tone for the said championship run. These are three individuals that should be the first in line to face the new World Heavyweight Champion.

Damian Priest

Damian Priest continues to excel in his role within The Judgement Day. Since joining the main roster in 2021, Priest remains one of the best-protected members of the roster. His recent matches alongside Bad Bunny, both at WrestleMania and Backlash, further elevated his stock in a way that a title could hardly achieve. It would be interesting to see Priest grow into his role as a top heel and become the man to challenge Seth Rollins early in his run with the new championship.

Shinsuke Nakamura

Shinsuke Nakamura is one individual that fans have long wanted to see get a sustained run at the top. He and Seth Rollins haven’t had many memorable interactions on the main roster, so imagine what could occur if they were given a full build with a month’s worth of feuding. This would be an opportunity to truly highlight Nakamura as the world-respected talent that he is and create a fresh storyline for the top of the Monday Night Raw roster.

Bron Breakker

Bron Breakker’s time on WWE NXT should be winding down. After losing to Carmelo Hayes at NXT Battleground, there isn’t anything else the former 2x champion can achieve. Moving him up to the main roster is the next step needed for his career and bringing him in as an immediate threat to Rollins’s title gives the company another star to build around. WWE has shown its interest in presenting Breakker as a star of the future, and with his pedigree and performance so far, they may be on to something special. Getting him to the main roster and putting him against the top names would be a good step for the growth of his career.

Bad Bunny should get a WWE title run in some form. dark. Next
