The push to WrestleMania 41 is in full effect. There are so many things to look forward to with this showcase event. All eyes are on John Cena, and the heel turn to end all heel turns. But that’s not it. There are several interesting angles in the women’s division that can’t be ignored. Fans have long called for more non-title stories in the WWE women’s division and there are three big ones coming out of Elimination Chamber.
Jade Cargill versus Naomi (and eventually Bianca Belair)
Jade Cargill was on a mission at Elimination Chamber. She wasn’t in the match, but she eliminated Naomi with the fervor of a burning sun. Everyone immediately assumes that this means it was Naomi who attacked Cargill, forcing the former tag team champion out for several months. But what if Naomi truly wasn’t the one to do it, or if she wasn’t the only one in on it?
You can’t ignore the story that Bianca Belair was going through before she and Cargill teamed up. Belair was struggling to get back to the championship, while Cargill was gaining momentum. Naomi versus Jade Cargill is going to be a big match at WrestleMania 41, but do not ignore how Bianca Belair will be involved at some point.
Liv Morgan versus Alexa Bliss (Potentially with Nikki Cross and Raquel Rodriguez)
In recent weeks, Liv Morgan has shown why it was necessary to get her away from Rhea Ripley. She’s a strong performer who excels in her role both as a character and in the ring. She should have an important angle heading into WrestleMania and battling Alexa Bliss is a perfect spot to fill.
Alexa Bliss is an important figure in the women’s division. WWE just brought her back with a new deal, and they must make the most of her star power. That means getting her into an important angle with a vital payoff. Imagine she and Nikki Cross finally reforming their team to take on the tag team champions in Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. This is the story that works the best for all four women.
Bayley versus Roxanne Perez
Bayley is an icon in women’s wrestling. She’s already put together a Hall of Fame career, and yet she continues to find ways to give the fans memorable moments. At this point in her run, it’s time for younger names to begin building their foundation in angles with performers like Bayley. This is where Roxanne Perez comes into play.
Bayley and Perez have gone back and forth for weeks. It came to a head during Elimination Chamber, where Perez got the better of the former champion. The angle will not end there, and it would only make sense to get them into some type of match at WrestleMania 41.
