WWE Evolution II looks to be more of a reality. After rumors of the PLE’s scheduled return, further reports are pushing that narrative, expecting the show to occur in July. It has been seven years since the first all-women’s WWE PLE. With so many eyes on this product, here are three important matches that must happen at Evolution II.

Jade Cargill versus Bianca Belair

Jade Cargill versus Bianca Belair has the potential to be one of the biggest feuds for WWE in 2025. Naomi and Cargill are locked in a feud that should involve Belair at some point, hopefully immediately after WrestleMania 41. There’s an opportunity to see Belair turn and present a version of her character who has not been seen on the main roster.

Jade Cargill versus Bianca Belair is an angle that does not need a championship. The woman coming out on top should be immediately considered the top contender for whomever has the title. WWE has a stacked women’s roster, and right now, this is the biggest match available to them.

Becky Lynch versus Lyra Valkyria

It is odd that WWE has not reintroduced Becky Lynch. With WrestleMania 41 on the horizon, and Lynch not being a part of the card, fans are expecting her to return during the Monday Night Raw that follows. It would be interesting to see her align herself with Lyra Valkyria, just for the two women to have a split and battle over the Intercontinental Championship.

The Intercontinental Championship needs a boost. After the initial excitement for its introduction, momentum has dropped because of the booking around it. Putting that title on Lynch or having her chase it would be an effective way to fix that issue, much like Gunther’s Intercontinental Championship run helped rebuild that title.

Chyna Memorial Battle Royale

So, this one is the biggest longshot of the group. Chyna is an icon in women’s wrestling, regardless of the promotion. Her presence decades ago helped set the stage for the elevation and evolution of women’s wrestling that fans and performers enjoy today. Her contributions deserve a match in her honor, and Evolution II would be a great place to start.

Much like the Andre the Giant Battle Royale, this match would feature 30 women who are outside the title picture. It would be a good opportunity to put a spotlight on a performer who needs a bit of a push to break through. Putting stakes on the line like a midcard title shot would go a long way to add value to what would be an emotional match.
