Everyone will have to keep wanting Mina Shirakawa for the foreseeable future. STARDOM annouced that the wrestler was injured during the show on February 2 at Korakuen Hall. She and her Empress Nexus Venus teammates, HANAKO, Maika, and Waka Tsukiyama were defeated by H.A.T.E. (Thekla, Rina, Momo Wantanabe, and Azusa Inaba at STARDOM 14th Anniversary Supreme Fight 2025.
It is unclear what injury was sustained and how long she will be out. The statement from STARDOM reads "we will announce her return date as soon as it is known." Shirakawa also posted to social media asking for fans to give her time to be back at 120%.
Shirakawa had a big year in 2024, especially with her involvement in AEW. She was part of AEW's biggest feud between "Timeless" Toni Storm and Mariah May. When May turned on Storm, Shirakawa said she no longer recognized her former Rose Gold tag team partner.
At "Full Gear", Shirakawa thwarted an attempt from May trying to turn on her. This led to a title match at "Winter Is Coming". May was victorious. That was the last time Shirakawa has been seen in an AEW ring as she's kept a full schedule in STARDOM.
Just days after losing to May, Shirakawa competed at RevPro at their Uprising 2024 show. She defeated Dani Luna to retain the RevPro Undisputed British Women's Title. Shirakawa beat Luna back in August to become champion.
On January 5, Shirakawa put her title on the line against Mercedes Moné at the inaugural "Wrestle Dynasty" show. It was a title for title match with Moné putting up her NJPW STRONG Women's Championship. When Shirakawa came to the ring, she also had two titles. Besides the RevPro title, she also carried the Queen of Southside Championship.
According to RevPro's owner, Andy Quildan, the belt is "essentially The Queen of Southside belt is a legacy title from Southside Wrestling. RevPro took over the venues that Southside ran and their video library in 2019." The titles were eventually unified. When Moné defeated Shirakawa, she inhertied both titles, thus making her "Mercedes Four Belts."
