WWE has a deep women’s division across all three shows. There are several performers who stand out as top talents, but Giulia remains to be one-of-one. She’s always had an unmistakable aura about her, and if WWE builds her correctly, she has the potential to be the next big name in the company.
Giulia and Roxanne Perez are scheduled to battle Rhea Ripley and IYO Sky on the May 12 episode of Monday Night Raw. This is a highly anticipated match featuring four women who are poised to carry the current and future of women’s wrestling in WWE. Sky is the current WWE Women’s World Champion and clearly the “ACE” in the division. Ripley is today’s big star, one of the few home-grown talents who’ve almost reached superstardom. Then there’s Giulia and Perez, two young talents poised to take over for the future.
Giulia has been with WWE for a few months but even the casual fans have to recognize that she’s a special talent. WWE did a great job introducing her in WWE NXT. She was the one to end Perez’s dominance in the brand, which makes their teaming together questionable today. Even more unfortunate, injuries caused her to drop that title early, but even that has a silver lining because Stephanie Vaquer has taken that torch and ran with it to build her own momentum.
Giulia will be a champion on the WWE main roster
Giulia has the makings to be a main event star in WWE. One look at her catalog of matches proves that she has the in-ring skills of anyone in the company. If IYO Sky is considered the best in the division across all three shows, Giulia is not far behind. Giulia and Jordynne Grace had a wild match on the May 6 episode of WWE NXT. That match currently sits at an 8.60 rating on Cagematch with 224 votes. And that’s just one in a massive catalog of excellent matches.
Typically, there’s a lot to be desired when it’s time for WWE to build new names. Especially in women’s wrestling. WWE has the opportunity to change that practice with Giulia and so far, the company has started on the right foot with the next big star in women’s wrestling.
