The women’s tag team division has been the focus on the main roster for quite some time. Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair are the perfect two women to build the division around. They’ve held the title for a combined 139 days as of this writing, and there are growing hints that a split is on the horizon. If they were to drop the belts, the perfect duo to take those titles would be Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson. The two WWE NXT standouts are ready for a run on the main roster.

Jackson and Legend have become the central characters of the Meta-Four faction. The women are consistently booked on television, and they have even spent much of the last two months on both SmackDown and Monday Night Raw. It’s clear that WWE sees something in them, especially Legend as top performers in the future. They recently dropped a tag match to Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer on the November 12 episode of WWE NXT. That should be their swan song on the Tuesday night show.

Legend and Jackson would be another team that the division could be built around. At some point, Cargill and Belair will split, setting up a massive singles feud for the women’s division. While they go off and do their thing, Legend and Jackson should go on their own run as tag champions. Imagine pitting them against the Sky Pirates, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance, Pure Fusion Collective, The Unholy Union, Chelsea Green and Piper Niven, or any of the other available teams. There are a lot of options that could be used to continue to build Legend and Jackson along the way.

WWE’s booking of its women’s divisions gets praise in some ways, and criticism in others. WWE NXT is thriving, while SmackDown and Monday Night Raw are struggling to give the women’s division substantive angles outside of the title pictures. And even the title booking raises eyebrows, at least on Raw. Fleshing out the divisions requires involving more talent which fans are showing interest in. Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson fall into that space. WWE has shown they are willing to build them up. Here’s to hoping they are moved to the main roster sooner, rather than later, and given the opportunity to stand at the top of the tag team division.
