Judgment Day is the stable that keeps on giving. When the group started in 2022, no one expected it to be the success it has been over the years. One of the biggest gains is the further establishment of Liv Morgan as a central character in WWE programming. Morgan may be out due to a shoulder injury, but when she returns, she’s going to be a huge babyface and that momentum must be utilized in the right way.
On June 16, Liv Morgan suffered a legit shoulder injury that upended WWE Evolution 2025 and a lot of the booking of the women’s division. The fact that one performer’s injury had such an impact shows the level of importance that name has within the company. Many openly criticize Morgan as a performer, but she is much better than a lot of the criticism she’s received over the years. She’s improved, and it is time to recognize that.
WWE is setting the stage for Liv Morgan to be a major babyface when she returns. While that timetable isn’t set in stone, if she’s available to participate in the Royal Rumble, that match must be the match that she finally wins.
But before that, the story is there for her versus Judgment Day. Seeing Morgan get revenge against Roxanne Perez, eventually having to battle her friend in Raquel Rodriguez, and becoming the biggest thorn in the side of Dominick Mysterio would be an excellent angle. If WWE takes the time to tell the story correctly. That is the hard part, but also not the point of this piece. The point of this piece is to highlight that Morgan’s time at the top of the women’s division is close.
Returns are a huge deal in professional wrestling. A performer returning to a promotion or coming back from an injury creates an immediate interest in said name. Morgan already has a huge following within wrestling, so her return is going to be extrapolated by that momentum. Before she went out due to injury, Morgan was already primed for a main event run that did not revolve around Rhea Ripley or Dominick Mysterio. Fans want to see her standing in a position on top without being a placeholder. Morgan’s time to be that wrestler will be right in front of her when she returns from injury.
Liv Morgan is a WWE superstar. She’s a popular performer and is more than capable of succeeding in the WWE system. When she returns from injury, WWE has to put her in the position to be the top babyface in the company. The John Cena catchphrase “The Time is Now” more than applies. Liv Morgan’s time is coming, and it cannot be denied.
