Miro and Malakai Black would have immediate impacts on the WWE roster

Where would Malakai Black and Miro fit on the WWE roster? Perhaps these two slots would make the most sense.

All Elite Wrestling released three important names to start the week. Ricky Starks, Miro, and Malakai Black were all removed from the AEW roster and shortly confirmed to no longer be with the company. Starks has already popped up in WWE and fans expect Black and Miro to do the same. Looking at the current makeup of the WWE roster, here is how those two could fit into today’s WWE.

Both Miro and Malakai Black would work on the main roster. Miro established himself as a big name on the roster and Black already won the NXT Championship during his initial run in the organization. Neither individual needs to go back to NXT, as they are both bigger than the Tuesday brand. In many ways, Ricky Starks is as well, but it makes sense for this to be a holdover stop for him before going to the main roster after WrestleMania.

Malakai Black as Chad Gable’s answer to luchadores

There’s already been a hint about where Malakai Black fits on the roster. Chad Gable has struggled with luchadores for the last few months. He’s left American Made while he’s stepped away to train in the “dark arts.” When he dropped that line, it wasn’t just a throwaway. Many saw it as a call to Malakai Black as he owns a wrestling school with Zelina Vega titled Dark Arts. Gable was supposed to have a brief stint in AAA, but that did not come to fruition.

It would be interesting to see how this story could involve Malakai Black. Seeing him come in to “help” Gable to a point opens a door for several feuds against the likes of Penta, Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee, and others. All those men are great in-ring workers and would be an excellent compliment to what Black brings to the action. It would be a nice holding pattern until involving him in a larger ordeal.

Miro works on any brand, but WWE NXT could use him for a bit

Miro would work on either Monday Night Raw or SmackDown. Think about matches like Miro versus either Jacob Fatu or Bron Breakker. People would go nuts at the idea of either of those matches and several more. But what if WWE sent him to NXT for a bit to be a major threat to Oba Femi? That is the best use for Miro at this time.

Femi is being booked as a monster who is a force of nature. No one can stand up to him one on one. But Miro immediately answers that challenge. Bringing him back to NXT to be a threat to Femi would also be a way to pull some attention to the brand. While it has held strong since moving to the CW, every show could use a burst of excitement with a returning star. Would Miro be the one to take the title off Femi? Perhaps, but it would be a great way to build some excitement for all involved.

It looks like WWE is about to get a boost in star power with several returning names. The roster is getting packed and Triple H will have to find where to place names like Miro and Malakai Black. These two introductions could help not only those men, but those who are involved with them along the way.
