The women's division needs a shot in the arm and these three ladies with the Money in the Bank briefcase would do just that.

The WWE Women’s Division is packed with opportunity. Becky Lynch is a free agent, reportedly looking to take some well-deserved time off. Rhea Ripley is out with injury and not expected back until after SummerSlam. WWE needs to take this time to build some stars for the future, and this division has several names that could step up into a strong position. With Money in the Bank set for July 6, here are three women that stand out as favorites to take the briefcase.

Tiffany Stratton

Tiffany Stratton is WWE’s “It girl.” She started off as a prospect in WWE NXT but has translated that support and momentum well on the main roster. She’s building herself up as a credible heel, even as fans cheer her name. Her character is another take on the overplayed “mean girls” gimmick, but she’s made it her own to find success.

Tiffany Stratton has the makings of being a foundational piece of WWE’s product for a long time. She has big plans for her career outside of wrestling as well, so WWE would be smart to give her a big push now to leverage all the time they have with her. That could start with a MITB victory that leads to a championship win.

Dakota Kai

With Damage CTRL drafted over to WWE Raw, this is an opportunity to present Dakota Kai in a better light. She’s much better than an enhancement talent meant to elevate the rest of the division. She’s shown character, personality, and in-ring abilities that check all the boxes of a future champion. She’s beloved by fans as well. Giving her an opportunity to capture the MITB briefcase would help build her up at a time when the division needs to top performers.

Plus, this would open the door to telling an interesting story with the faction. Imagine a space where Iyo Sky is upset with Dakota Kai for winning the briefcase she last held. That space of jealousy would create some great matches involving those two ladies and potentially Kairi Sane and Auska in the future.

Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss in the Money in the Bank is a long shot. Her last match was back in January 2023, as she stepped away for maternity leave. She’s hinted at returning to the ring, and her fans are holding their breath – hoping to see her sooner, rather than later. The Bo Dallas/Uncle Howdy angle seems to be where she would fit, based on her legacy with Bray Wyatt. But Bliss could come back as an iteration of her original character and be as over with the fans.

Bliss would be a shot in the arm for the WWE Raw women’s division. The group needs some star power now that several top performers were moved to SmackDown, while others are away for other reasons. Bliss brings that to the table and she’d be an immediate main-event player with the briefcase.
