It’s the start of a new week and there’s a lot to look forward in professional wrestling. All Elite Wrestling is heading into a big showcase event with Forbidden Door III on Sunday, June 30. There are eyes on the June 24 edition of WWE Raw to see what’s next with The Wyatt 6. Here are three of the top stories and developments to keep an eye on heading into this week.

AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door III

The third edition of Forbidden Door is coming to fans from the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. This PPV consistently ranks among the best of the year, featuring several “dream matches” created by the demands of fans. This year should be the same as not only are AEW and NJPW involved, but Stardom and CMLL are also on the card.

This week marks the final build for the PPV. Unlike past years Forbidden Door was focused mostly on the excitement of big matches, there are several angles that have developed well. The women’s division leads the way with Toni Storm, Mariah May, and Mina Shirakawa wrapped up in a three-way situation. Mercedes Mone versus Stephanie Vaquer is a big rematch that can steal the show. It will also be interesting to see who is crowned the AEW TNT Champion, as many think it’s a foregone conclusion to see Jack Perry with that title. Swerve Strickland versus Will Ospreay has massive implications as well. This will be a strong show from top to bottom.

Integrating the Wyatt 6

The Wyatt 6 made their debut last week. That debut left carnage all throughout the backstage area. Most notably, Chad Gable was left unconscious, with many claiming he was “killed.” Yet, he’s booked for a major bout this week for a shot to be in the Money in the Bank ladder match. Other wrestlers have posted on social media about their whereabouts during the attack, linking real life with kayfabe. It will be interesting to see how WWE Creative continues to work this angle into the show, as there’s no way one could avoid the violence that started last week. Doing so would immediately hinder the direction this group is taking.

What’s next in the TNA & WWE NXT Crossover?

Joe Hendry’s entrance at WWE NXT is the most-liked WWE video post-WrestleMania 40. That’s such a testament to his sudden rise to fame in wrestling. With that moment past, there are questions about what is next for the partnership. Could a main roster talent like AJ Styles make the leap to TNA? That would be a huge story that would certainly catch the attention of fans. Reports are that collaboration will continue, so it will be interesting to see how things play out.
