Get to know WWE NXT signee DELTA

WWE NXT got off to a hot start with its premiere on the CW Network. The show opened with one of its newest signees in Giulia getting screwed out of the WWE NXT Women’s Championship by the returning Cora Jade. NXT’s women’s division was already deep heading into the show, but it looks like it has reached a new level. One of the reasons why is the arrival of DELTA, who will have an immediate impact on the roster.

WWE presented an interesting video midway through the October 1 episode. A lone figure walking down a road that looked right out of the Mad Max franchise. Above them was a sign that said NXT on Highway 27, hinting at WWE NXT Halloween Havoc, the brand’s next PLE set for Sunday, October 27. This figure looked like a foreboding athlete who is prepared to cause carnage, and causing carnage is exactly what DELTA will do.

Standing 5’8” and weighing 165 pounds, DELTA will be a force in the group that hasn’t been seen in quite a while. Of course, the comparisons to another fellow Aussie will come, but DELTA is very different from that of Rhea Ripley. Yes, they share similar builds, but that is where the similarities end.

With three years of experience under their belt, many have recognized DELTA’s talents. They’ve held several championships a relatively short time, many of which for reigns that last more than 200 days. Take for example, the MCW Women’s Championship which they’ve held for a combined 427 days. Their reign of terror has been widely featured in Australia but has also popped up in more established companies like NWA and New Japan in 2023.

WWE NXT women’s division should be considered among the best in the world. It’s certainly the best booked when compared to SmackDown and Raw, but the quality of matches the ladies put forth is frequently rated well, even for the relative youth on the roster. As the group continues to retool, DELTA is one of the names expected to make major waves once they walk through that curtain.
