WrestleMania 40 event information and match listing
The biggest show in professional wrestling is back once again. WrestleMania 40 is a few weeks away and fans are looking at the event as a major moment for WWE and the entire industry. The show is shaping up and there’s much to be announced for both days. As the weeks pass, WWE will remind the professional wrestling world why this is the most exciting time of the year.
WrestleMania 40 is scheduled for April 6 and 7. The event will be presented from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Tickets went on sale on August 18 and more than 90,000 tickets combined for both days were sold. This was a new record, eclipsing the numbers established at WrestleMania 39.
WrestleTix reported on February 10 that 56,225 tickets have been distributed for Night 1, while 57,368 tickets have been distributed for Night 1. Approximately 6,183 tickets combined are remaining. 218 combo ticket packages are left for purchase.
WrestleMania 40 is the first Mania that will be under the new Endeavor ownership. It looks like those in power are making it a point to make this a massive event. Even with CM Punk injured, the biggest stars are poised to be on the card. The angle between The Rock, Roman Reigns, and Cody Rhodes continues to shape up. Rhodes is supposedly scheduled to take on Reigns, but things can always change in the weeks to come. But the list doesn’t stop there, as individuals like Seth Rollins, Rhea Ripley, GUNTHER, and more are expected to take part in the show.
