WWE Royal Rumble 2024 FoolProof Predictions: The Rock Will Confront Roman Reigns

WWE Royal Rumble 2024 is still two weeks away, and the pro wrestling world is buzzing about who could win the Rumble and the main event of WrestleMania 40. The Royal Rumble is the perfect place for epic returns, jaw-dropping surprises, and most importantly indelible moments that will last forever. CM Punk is back. The Rock is back. Jade Cargill and Nia Jax made their way to WWE. Kairi Sane returned in November. Naomi and Liv Morgan are even rumored to return as well.

The following will provide foolproof match card predictions for the most exciting PPV to kickstart the PPV calendar of 2024 and the road to WrestleMania: WWE Royal Rumble 2024

Men's Royal Rumble [Battle Royal]

CM Punk is exactly what WWE needs now. They need a needle mover who will bring something unique to the show, and no one creates more buzz than the Second City Saint himself. That infamous pipebomb 12 years ago was just the beginning, and his AEW career was living proof of how big a draw CM Punk can be, especially after being 3rd in the PWI 500 last year. After 10 long years, CM Punk left Royal Rumble 2014 and returned to win the Rumble in 2024 finally, the main event Mania for the first time in his career is a beautiful storyline that can’t be passed up.

More importantly, CM Punk needs to choose Seth Rollins as his WrestleMania opponent, especially after Rollins called him a ‘cancer’ who should never come back to his locker room.

Logan Paul (c) vs. Kevin Owens [U.S. Title]

Logan Paul will defeat Kevin Owens to retain the U.S. Title because WWE will use Owen's fist injury as an excuse for his loss so that Paul can prollong his title reign into WrestleMania 40, where he will lose the title to LA Knight. LA Knight needs the U.S. Title more than Kevin Owens. LA Knight would benefit more from dethroning Logan Paul, who has a ton of heel heat that he can feed off of as the most over babyface in the company. This inevitable mid card title run for Knight will be a solid test for him to prove if he is capable of leading a brand as champion and worthy of main event status.

Judgment Day (c) vs. DIY [Undisputed Tag Titles]

DIY will dethrone Judgment Day to become the new tag team champions because Judgment Day is on the verge of dissension and Mr. MITB Damian Priest needs to start carving his path to the world title before his MITB Contract expires. Priest can't win the world title with the tag titles still in his grasp. When Judgment Day loses the tag titles, this will begin a slow build to Mr. MITB Damian Priest battling Finn Balor at WrestleMania whilst DIY focuses on maintaining the prestige of the tag team division with their fancy pro wrestling skills and storytelling that they showcased in NXT.

Women's Royal Rumble [Battle Royal]

Bayley is being used by Damage Control as a mere distraction to help them win championship gold. However, the relationship is one-sided. While Bayley helps Iyo, Asuka, and Kairi win their matches, no one is around to help Bayley win her match. That's the story here, and Bayley will finally realize that and dig down deep to win the Rumble this year and swerve the entire world when she chooses Iyo Sky as her Mania opponent, instead of Rhea Ripley, as initially said in her promo. This is a long-term storyline that can't be passed up. 1st Rumble victory for Bayley is the way to go.

Roman Reigns (c) vs. Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles vs. LA Knight [World Title]

Roman Reigns will retain the World Title by pinning Randy Orton after Solo Sikoa screws Orton in the final moments of the match. This will set up Orton vs. Sikoa for WrestleMania, where Orton will get his revenge by taking Sikoa out of commission so that Sikoa is way too incapacitated to even interfere in Cody's title match with Reigns in the main event. After Reigns retains the title here, The Rock will make his grandiose entrance at the end of the show to have a face-off with Reigns and set up their world title match for Elimination Chamber in Australia before Cody finishes the story at Mania.
