WWE SmackDown Predictions: Bianca Belair Will Wake Bayley Up

WWE SmackDown is continuing its road to WWE Royal Rumble 2024, which is shaping up with some top candidates like CM Punk and Bayley to be potential Rumble winners this year. On this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, three matches are officially scheduled: (1) Bianca Belair vs. Bayley in a Royal Rumble Showcase Match, (2) Los Lotharios vs. Legado Del Fantasma in a Tag Team Match, and (3) Cameron Grimes vs. Grayson Waller in a Singles Grudge Match.

In other news regarding WWE SmackDown, Roman Reigns is scheduled to defend his World Title against Randy Orton, AJ Styles, and LA Knight in a Fatal Four Way Match at the Royal Rumble. Logan Paul is scheduled to defend his United States Championship against the winner of the #1C Tournament, Kevin Owens, at the Royal Rumble. Kabuki Warriors have some beef with Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn after being attacked by them during their holiday match last week. Karrion Kross and AOP are a newly created faction, who are ready to go to war with Bobby Lashley and Street Profits.

With that being said, the following will focus on the three announced matches for WWE SmackDown and the idea of Bianca Belair waking Bayley up on the road to WWE Royal Rumble 2024.

Bianca Belair vs. Bayley [Royal Rumble ShowCase Match]

Bianca Belair will defeat Bayley because she needs to wake Bayley up from this Damage Control nightmare. Clearly, Bayley is being used by Damage Control as a mere distraction to help them win championship gold. However, the relationship is one-sided. While Bayley helps Iyo, Asuka, and Kairi win their matches, no one is around to help Bayley win her match. That's the story here, and Bayley will finally realize that and dig down deep to win the Rumble this year and swerve the entire world when she choose Iyo Sky as her Mania opponent, instead of Rhea Ripley, as initially said in her promo.

Prediction: Bianca Belair

Los Lotharios vs. Legado Del Fantasma [Tag Team Match]

Los Lotharios will defeat Legado Del Fantasma because they need to solidify their new partnership with Santos Escobar as well as win in their SmackDown debut as a team. It will be interesting to see how they interact with Carlito and even Rey Mysterio when he turns from his injury.

Prediction: Los Lotharios

Cameron Grimes vs. Grayson Waller [Singles Grudge Match]

Cameron Grimes will defeat Grayson Waller becuase this could be a main roster resurgence for the Moon Walker. He has not had the best luck in his win-loss record, so a victory here could really get him back on the right track. Since Waller is in a tag team, losing a singles match won't harm him at all.
