WWE SummerSlam 2024 Predictions: Roman Reigns Will SCREW Solo Sikoa

Bayley (c) vs. Queen Nia [WWE Women's Title]

Queen Nia will dethrone Bayley because she needs to solidify her QOTR victory. She planted the seeds for being the one to dethrone Bayley ever since debuting on SmackDown for the first time in her career post-draft when she heinously attacked Bayley to make a statement. Bayley had a solid chase for the title on the road to Mania, but her title reign has unfortunately been underwhelming. Now that her title reign has run its course, Queen Nia can win that title as a top heel to finally deal with top babyface contenders like Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, with whom she has unfinished business.

It can be argued that Tiffany Stratton, the princess for Queen Nia, could cash in MITB to win the title here due to seeds and subtle teases in recent weeks, but all this seems like a red herring and it is also too early in Tiffany's main roster career to win the world title just yet, especially since the fans witnessed a Women's MITB Cash-In at last year's SummerSlam already and also just witnessed a failed cash-in by McIntyre at MITB last month. It would be wiser to space out the MITB Cash-Ins, especially since the Women's MITB Winners in the past five years have all cashed in too quickly.

Prediction: Queen Nia

Logan Paul (c) vs. LA Knight [U.S. Title]

LA Knight is the classic example of someone who is trending and getting over for his meme-like catchphrases rather than his pro wrestling skills and long term storytelling abilities. And quite frankly, Knight is still over with the WWE Universe, but he has lost some steam lately. Although Knight picked up a huge Mania victory over AJ Styles, WWE has failed to capitalize on that momentum with a title opportunity. It is clear that WWE has failed to strike while the iron was hot with him, and the U.S. Title would be his best bet to regain that momentum, especially since Logan Paul is an egregious champ.

Despite Logan Paul being in his hometown of Cleveland, it is clear that a part-time mid-card champion will not work effectively in the WWE due to the lack of title defenses and rare appearances. Despite his social media appeal as an influencer, it is safe to say that Logan Paul's title reign has gone stale and run its course in 2024. Undoubtedly, WWE should build LA Knight up as a mid card champion to capitalize on his popularity. It will be nice to see him prove himself as a U.S. Champion in WWE territory before entering the main event scene to potentially become a future world champion.
