WWE WrestleMania 40 Predictions: The Rock Will BURY Cody Rhodes

Bianca Belair vs. Tiffany Stratton [WrestleMania Streak]
Bianca Belair will defeat Tiffany Stratton because she should be the next Undertaker at Mania and maintain her Mania Streak of 4-0. Tiffany Stratton just arrived on the main roster and has no business beating Belair at WrestleMania this early in her main roster run. She is the Plan B Option for Charlotte Flair on SmackDown and will merely have a strong showing against an established Belair to showcase that she belongs in the main event scene. Belair can use this victory to get back in the title picture, as she never got a fair rematch since losing the title to Iyo Sky via MITB Cash-In at SummerSlam.
As a consolation prize for losing here, Stratton has been in talks to be the next Ms. MITB this year. As a former NXT World Champion, that would be a fun start for her and is quite foreseeable, as she has been eminently impressive early on in her main roster run. However, MITB still feels like a huge step, and it's unfortunate that there is not a mid card belt in the women's division to serve as a testing ground for women who want to make a name for themselves. A mid card belt would actually be a lot more useful than the tag titles, which have not regained prominence due to the depleted division.

Liv Morgan vs. Nia Jax [David vs. Goliath Feud]
Liv Morgan will defeat Nia Jax because she needs that underdog David vs. Goliath victory in her revenge tour to earn her way back into the title picture with Rhea Ripley, who is her final target. Jax has been busy bulldozing both Becky and Liv in recent weeks. Since Becky is busy with Ripley at WrestleMania (more on that later), Jax and Liv can go at it by process of elimination. Jax already got her world title shot at Elimination Chamber against Ripley and lost clean. Now is the time for Liv to get that big win and advance to her title shot after a heartbroken loss to Lynch inside the Chamber.
Many fans around the world were upset that Liv did not get the world title shot at Mania. However, Liv should only get that title shot when the WWE is ready for Ripley to lose the belt and when Liv has regained momentum from her lost time in the ring. The revenge tour does not have to be immediate. Liv's MITB cash-in was immediate, and it led to an underwhelming title reign. It is better for WWE to stretch out this revenge tour and allow Liv the time to connect on a deeper level with the fans, improve in the ring, and assure that her inevitable second world title reign is a memorable success.
