WWE WrestleMania 40 Predictions: The Rock Will BURY Cody Rhodes

Iyo Sky (c) vs. Bayley [WWE Women's Title]
Bayley, the 2024 Royal Rumble Winner, will dethrone Iyo Sky because she has to get revenge on Damage Control for betraying her trust. Iyo Sky, Dakota Kai, and even Kabuki Warrios more recently have all benefited with accomplishments thanks to the mentorship of Bayley. Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai won the tag titles when they first started back in 2022, Iyo Sky won MITB and cashed in successfully to become World Champ at SummerSlam 2023, and Kabuki Warriors recently won the tag titles all thanks to help from Bayley. Everyone benefitted from Damage Control, except the creator, Bayley.
WrestleMania is Bayley's moment to finally benefit with some gold around her waist, as she has not won a single championship since she returned from injury at SummerSlam 2022. Going forward, Bayley's title reign does not have to necessarily be long because she has already had a long 500-Day Title reign before. This title reign can be used as a beacon for elevating the division, especially since it is expected for many NXT call ups to appear post-Mania. Dakota Kai is also a major threat to keep an eye on, as she may want to win the world title just like her Damage Control counterparts have done.

Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Becky Lynch [World Women's Title]
Rhea Ripley will defeat Elimination Chamber Winner, Becky Lynch, to retain the world women’s championship because she has done an impeccable job with her title reign in the past calendar year and should be rewarded with a milestone of 365 Days with title since winning it from Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39. Thanks to how established Lynch is already, she is in that special situation where she does not need the world title anymore. Ripley needs this win a lot more to solidify her spot as a top star in the WWE, so she will win here and continue her dominant reign in the summer of 2024.
Prediction: Rhea Ripley
