There was a lot of excellent professional wrestling during the weekend. From WWE NXT Great American Bash to AEW All In 2025 on Saturday, through WWE Evolution 2025 on Sunday, there was more than enough to leave fans talking. Looking back at all the happenings throughout the weekend, here are the three biggest moments from a stacked weekend of wrestling.

Bryan Danielson returns to attack The Death Riders

Everyone knew that in order for “Hangman” Adam Page to defeat Jon Moxley, he was going to need help. That help came in the form of multiple baby faces, but the most surprising was Bryan Danielson. He popped up in the ring “hidden” under a Blue Panther mask before laying out Wheeler Yuta. He snatched off the mask to the cheers of thousands in attendance, then furthered his rampage against Gabe Kidd and Claudio Castagnoli.

Danielson isn’t returning as a full-time competitor, but perhaps this gives space for an eventual in-ring return for some special matches much sooner than expected. There are several big events on AEW’s roster to close out 2025, and having Danielson on the show would put them over the top.

Naomi cashes in the Money in the Bank

Naomi is one of those performers who has a strong, and well-deserved fan following. Since returning from her stint in TNA Wrestling, she has been on quite the run. Before leaving, she was already a fan favorite in the women’s division, but her work has pushed her to a new level.

Noami’s heel character has been one of the most entertaining aspects of WWE. Seeing her snatch the Money in the Bank briefcase and knowing that it would lead to a career moment was huge for fans to witness. Now, that moment has come to fruition, and she’s set to be a key part of the WWE Monday Night Raw roster.

“Hangman” Adam Page defeats Jon Moxley

After the dust settled from “Hangman” Adam Page versus Jon Moxley, everything leading up to that build “worked.” Page stood in the middle of the ring with tears in his eyes, holding the AEW World Championship above his head. A title that fans had not seen for months, and they erupted into cheers to see the big gold belt. The fans pushed Page to be the guy to get the job done. Seeing him finish that job delivered on all aspects of what makes professional wrestling special.

All Elite Wrestling is rolling, and this match is a strong representation of it. Everything about it worked, and it encapsulates what is working in AEW as a promotion. This was the biggest moment of the weekend, and when 2025 is over, it will be the moment of the year.
