WWE Hell in a Cell Predictions: Brie Bella vs. Nikki Bella

facebooktwitterreddit

Twin sisters go one-on-one this Sunday at WWE Hell in a Cell, when Brie and Nikki Bella finally get their hands on each other in a one-on-one match. The loser of this match must be the winner’s personal assistant for the next month, and if they fail to comply with that stipulation, they must quit WWE.

More from WWE

This all started after Extreme Rules, when it was revealed that Daniel Bryan would need surgery on his neck. Many wondered if this would mean that he would have to give up the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but WWE stuck with him for a while, until they gave Bryan an ultimatum, hand over the title, or his wife, Brie, would be fired.

Brie blew that plan up by quitting and slapping Stephanie McMahon in the face, and for the next few months, Stephanie tortured Nikki in order to get back at Brie.

Brie finally started to show her face again and, with a little help from a potential lawsuit, got herself a SummerSlam match with Stephanie.

The match was going well, not only did Brie have Stephanie on the mat, she left Triple H on his back outside the ring. Stephanie tried to escape but Brie and Nikki had her surrounded, until Nikki threw Stephanie out of the way and delivered a forearm to Brie. Stephanie capitalized with a Pedigree for the win.

Ever since then, there has been a lot of focus on their rivalry, and they have each pinned each other once in tag team action. Now, that they finally go one-on-one, Rob Wolkenbrod, Jordan Campbell, Carl Gac, Becca Cook, Callum Wiggins, and Mike Smith offer their predictions:

Rob’s Take: I really hope this is the end of this long, boring feud between these two. If it had lasted until Night of Champions, I would have been content with it. Now it’s at the point where no one cares anymore. Coincidentally, no one really cared once Stephanie McMahon disappeared from this. She gave this feud life while the Bella twins have failed miserably at making this interesting on their own. WWE must have realized this because they announced their match on the WWE App.

I guess I’m going to give the win to Brie because she’d get her proper revenge over her sister. Unfortunately, this “personal assistant” stipulation is going to make this program last another month just to provide more content for Total Divas. It feels like a big slap in the face, doesn’t it?

Rob’s Prediction: Brie Bella

Jordan’s Take: I’ll be in the bathroom during this match, as will most of you. ‘Bathroom’ starts with the letter ‘B’ and ‘Brie’ starts with the letter ‘B’ so Brie will win on Sunday.

Jordan’s Prediction: Brie Bella

Carl’s Take: This rivalry has been going since birth so why not keep it going a bit longer? I can see this being not much more than a filler match, probably won by Brie so that she can keep on bullying Nikki a bit longer.

Carl’s Prediction: Brie Bella

Becca’s Take: Nikki will win and be horrible to Brie on Total Divas for a month before the two miraculously become friends in time for the next season.

Becca’s Prediction: Nikki Bella

Callum’s Take: The Bella feud may be difficult to watch at times, but it hasn’t been the worst feud in the build to this PPV. These Divas have been improving steadily in the ring, and if they have chemistry with anybody it should be their own sister. But, the stipulation of the loser becoming the assistant of the winner has ruined the suspense of the outcome. Nikki as a servant does nothing for her prima donna character, so she should get the first victory in this feud with her sister.

Callum’s Prediction: Nikki Bella

Mike’s Take: With the added stipulation, there is no way that Brie can win this match. It would make no sense at all for Brie to have Nikki as her personal assistant.

This match will be better than people think, but their acting has just been terrible, so most people won’t be too invested.

Mike’s Prediction: Nikki Bella
