Why Brock Lesnar vs. Shane McMahon Needs to Happen

After Summerslam’s conclusion, Brock Lesnar and Shane McMahon need to face each other in a match in the near future.
Summerslam had many ups and downs but most can’t argue on how shocking the conclusion to the event was. While the main event between Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton was a bit lackluster what happened after the match has fans hoping for a future matchup.
At the conclusion of the match, Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon came to the ring to check on his injured Smackdown star Randy Orton. The Viper, who had lost the match via TKO, was a bloody mess in the ring thanks to the Beast Incarnate.
While attempting to check on Orton, Shane was blocked off numerous times by the monstrous Lesnar. Shane then finally went face to face with Lesnar, which resulted in McMahon getting F-5’d by the Beast, leaving McMahon knocked out in the ring.
On Tuesday’s episode of Smackdown Live, Shane O’Mac claimed that the issue between he and Brock is far from over. After everything that happened, the stage is now set for McMahon to go one on one with the Monster of Suplex City. This matchup would be perfect as, Shane has always been a Giant Killer in WWE. Having rivalries with monsters such as The Big Show, Test, Kane and The Undertaker, Shane has been known to wrestle the David vs. Goliath type matchups. This match would be no different as it would pin Shane in an incredibly tough situation facing a monster like Lesnar. Shane has always lived for the near to impossible challenge. So, this would be his biggest challenge yet.
What would make this matchup both intriguing and interesting is the fact that Shane will do anything to win his match. While Brock has faced some incredible talents such as Undertaker, John Cena, Randy Orton, and Triple H, none of them have ever put their bodies on the line to the extent that Shane has.

Shane is the definition of someone who will do anything to get the victory even if it’s putting his body on the line. Shane has made a career of doing death-defying leaps off incredible heights to win his match.
With this in mind, Shane would be the opponent that would literally do anything to beat Lesnar, even if it’s jumping 20 feet off something onto the Beast to keep him down. This fact alone would make the match intriguing.
Where Shane lacks in strength he makes it up with heart and guile to win. Shane has also shown that he can take a beating and keep on going. Matches with Kurt Angle and Kane showed that despite getting the beating of his life Shane refused to stay down.

This would be perfect in a match involving Brock, Shane can get annihilated by the beast yet he refuses to quit. This would keep the fans intrigued and would have them believing that possibly Shane could win.
Shane could pull out all the stops such as weapons, tables and jumping off a crazy height, obviously, the match would have to be a street fight but it would make the match that much great. Adding weapons to the fight makes it more believable as Shane would have resources to help even the fight.
With all the cards in their place now, Shane McMahon and Brock Lesnar need to face off in a match. Lesnar has conquered plenty of other top stars in the company, so, Shane gives him a fresh new matchup.
Whether it happens at Survivor Series or they hold this match for WrestleMania 33, Shane O’Mac vs The Conqueror is what the fans both want to see and need to see. Could Shane shock the world taking down the Beast? Only time will tell but with all the intrigue and unpredictability Shane McMahon brings he is truly the perfect matchup for the man who has laid wreckage in WWE.
