Matt and Jeff Hardy React to WWE WrestleMania 33 Return (Video)
Matt and Jeff Hardy returned to the WWE at WrestleMania 33 and won the Raw Tag Team Championship. What did they say about this?
Matt and Jeff Hardy returning to the WWE seemed like the secret that wasn’t exactly hidden. They teased a comeback after ROH Supercard of Honor, referencing tag teams they want to take gold from. So it kind of looked like it would happen soon, but we didn’t know how quickly.
Well, that all changed on Sunday night at WrestleMania 33. This saw the Hardys get brought in as a surprise team in the Ladder match for the Raw Tag Team Championship. They joined Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, Cesaro and Sheamus, and Enzo Amore and Big Cass.
About 15 minutes later, Matt and Jeff won the Raw Tag Team Championship, cementing their return with the gold they craved. It made for a landmark moment at the show and sent the Camping World Stadium fans wild.
After the show, WWE caught up with the Raw Superstars about their title win. What did they have to say?
"“WrestleMania 33, Orlando, FL, we are back home,” said Jeff. “We left here in ’09 and to return here on this night, to win these championships, is beyond belief.”"
Now, we get to focus on the Hardy Boyz being on Monday Night Raw, which is about 18 hours away. We’ll see who they feud with, how they’re used, if the “Broken” gimmick will stick and the likely wild crowd reaction from the Amway Center. Those “delete” chants will fill out not only the venue, but the fans all around the world.
