There might be a small problem in potentially getting The Rock to work WrestleMania 31.

For quite some time now, many have been expecting that The Rock will be a very integral part of WrestleMania 31 next year in California, although that might not be as much of a given as we originally thought.

As we know, aside from being one of the biggest stars to ever step into a professional wrestling ring, The Rock is also one of the biggest movie stars on the planet, and his schedule for next year around ‘Mania time could be a problem.

Wrestling Rumors recently pointed out that, even though there are reportedly big plans for Rocky next year, the chances of him being there are dwindling.

"Initially, it was reported that WWE wanted to make The Rock the headliner for the 2015 class of the WWE Hall of Fame. At the same time, it was believed that The Rock would be working a match at the 31 annual WrestleMania event just one night after the Hall of Fame ceremony. However, the odds of Johnson appearing at either just keep shrinking with every new Hollywood announcement.Filming for “Central Intelligence” is set to start in the Spring of 2015, which is when WrestleMania will be taking place. During this time period, it is also expected that Johnson will be heavily promoting the upcoming Summer blockbuster, “Fast & Furious 7.” He is also expected to be the main star in the upcoming “Baywatch” film, which could begin shooting during the Summer of 2015."

That is a bit of a problem, but that doesn’t mean that it’s impossible. There could always be a way to work around things for just the one weekend, but it’s still going to be tough.
