WWE NXT Review: NXT Title Match Fallout

Enzo Amore, Colin Cassady and Carmella backstage
Enzo and Big Cass were warming up for their match, when Carmella walked up.
Enzo and Big Cass both tried to take credit for Carmella’s early success, but she didn’t want to give them to much credit, because she could still blame them for getting her fired from the hair salon in the first place. They both didn’t have a great memory of that.
Eventually, it was time to head to the ring.

Enzo came out and did his usual, insanely over stuff.
Enzo then said that they don’t play any games, and listed off a bunch of famous board games, with the crowd following each one by adding, “how you doin’?”
Big Cass then promised a win over their opponents, he would then call them, “S-A-W-F-T. SAAAAWWWWFT.”
Every time they grab a mic, it’s magic. I really noticed here how comfortable Big Cass has gotten, it’s been a really cool transformation to see.
Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady vs. Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder
Enzo was able to control the match a little bi, but ended up taking some offense from Dawson and Wilder.
Luckily for Enzo, it didn’t take him too long to get Big Cass in the match, and he regained control of the match.
The match ended with an atomic drop from Enzo to Dawson, which was immediately followed by a big boot from Big Cass.
Amore and Cassady defeat Dawson and Wilder via pinfall.
2.25 out of 5 stars – This match was nothing special, but I do like Enzo and Big Cass’ tag team finisher. It’s a pretty good looking move.
The Ascension promo
After the match, as Enzo and Big Cass were heading up the ramp, The Ascension came running down and laid them out. They then climbed in the ring and attacked Dawson, before hitting Wilder with Fall of Man.
The Ascension grabbed a microphone, and both men talked about the issues they’ve had with Hideo Itami and Finn Balor, and said that both men had to be taken care of, and that they would do it when they get their hands on them.
That’s the second match Balor has been challenged to on this show. What’s that tell you about the impact he’s made?
