Believe it or not, the WWE TLC 2014 PPV is only 10 days away. We just had the Survivor Series PPV a short 11 days ago, so we are just over the half-way mark between shows.
Being so close to the show means the match card needs to be lined up pretty quickly. Here’s what the card is shaping up to look like on December 14.
Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt – TLC Match
- Confirmed
- This match should be a lot of fun. Gimmick matches allows Ambrose to go wild with his character and pull crazy stunts. Wyatt is the favorite here, however, as he looks to get revenge for the beating he took at Survivor Series.
Ryback vs. Kane – Chairs Match
- Confirmed
- This has been brewing for a little while now. It’s certainly not going to win match of the year, but it should be fun to see the chairs being flung around.
John Cena vs. Seth Rollins – Tables Match – If Cena loses, he will no longer be the #1 contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
- Confirmed
- With Brock Lesnar not going to be appearing at next week’s Raw or at the TLC PPV, this seems to be WWE’s plan B for John Cena. With the report that came out in October about Cena being advertised for the Royal Rumble match in January, Rollins may be the favorite in this one. Who faces Lesnar then?
The Miz and Damien Mizdow vs. The Usos – WWE Tag Team Championship Match
- Confirmed
- The Miz and Damien Mizdow are a lot of fun, but we’ve seen The Usos in the title picture all too often this year. While they are the best tag team on the roster, having them in the title picture as much as this may annoy fans.
Erick Rowan vs. Big Show – Steel Stairs Match
- Confirmed
- This is the first ever Steel Stairs match in WWE history and Erick Rowan’s first singles PPV match. He should go over well against Big Show and continue his push as a babyface character.
Luke Harper vs. Dolph Ziggler – WWE Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match
- Confirmed
- Ladder matches are always a lot of fun. Add two gifted performers to it and you’ve got the potential for a show-stealing match from this one.
AJ Lee vs. Nikki Bella – WWE Divas Championship Match
- Speculated
- Since AJ dropped the title last month via kiss, she’ll be looking for revenge on Nikki Bella. We may also see Brie Bella turn face again after turning heel for reasons that we are still not aware of and may never know.

Jack Swagger vs. Rusev – WWE United States Championship Match
- Speculated
- Swagger has already announced his intentions of going after Rusev’s U.S. title, so it’s just a matter of time before this match is announced. Don’t expect a gimmick for this one.
There’s your potential WWE TLC card for December 14. Most of this is finalized and the two speculated matches will probably happen at the event.
