Over the past four days, the speculation has begun over what this announcement could be. You can take a look at what our Mike Smith had to say about it here.
At first, my assumption was that Seth Rollins would be added to the mix for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match in some way. However, I don’t see WWE going that route for yet another pay-per-view.

I suspect that Triple H is going to announce a match for Reigns to “prove himself” as the rightful number one contender for Brock Lesnar’s title. Maybe some type of battle royal match is made for Fast Lane that puts Reigns’ opportunity for the title on the line. However, the outcome here would be very obvious because WWE has made it clear that Reigns is their next guy. Putting very obvious situations on TV hasn’t deterred WWE before (see last Sunday’s ending of the Royal Rumble), so don’t expect the former Shield member to look bad in any way.
