WWE SmackDown: Spoilers for March 5

Part VI

  • Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose defeated Luke Harper and Bad News Barrett when Ziggler hit a superkick and Zig Zag on Harper. Barrett then knocked out Ziggler and Ambrose. Barrett goes towards R-Truth to get his belt back. Truth is about to hand it over but Ambrose dives through the ropes and takes Barrett out. Truth goes to leave but runs into Harper. Truth puts the belt down and knocks Harper out. Truth goes to leave again but Daniel Bryan comes out. Truth gives him the belt, starts a “yes!” chant and leaves. Bryan starts to celebrate but is ambushed by Stardust. Stardust starts to climb the ladder and poses on it with the belt before leaving. SmackDown ends.

This is great seeing the Intercontinental Championship feud main event SmackDown. With the addition of Gold and Stardust to the match, the field just continues to grow.

Here’s the projected field for the match:

  • Bad News Barrett (c)
  • Dolph Ziggler (confirmed)
  • R-Truth
  • Luke Harper
  • Daniel Bryan
  • Goldust
  • Stardust
  • Dean Ambrose

This would make it an eight-man ladder match for the title. While this is certainly a lot of Superstars for a title match, it could end up being a classic and steal the show.
