What should be done with Rusev after Extreme Rules?

More from WWE

Rusev came into the WWE last year like a buzz saw – cutting through everyone that was put in front of him.  From Big E, Jack Swagger, Mark Henry, Big Show, Sheamus.  All of those guys fell victim to Rusev on his way to the WWE Franchise player John Cena.  With the winning streak over and his feud with Cena likely to end at Extreme Rules – what could the WWE do next with Rusev.?

First off, they need to do away with the Russia vs. USA angle, as it has been played out with Rusev.  That ball was dropped when they should have had him and Hogan have at least a little action. Why not at WrestleMania, when it seemed like Cena was going to go down. Why not have Cena’s arms dropping for a three-count being knocked out and just before that second arm dropped, the “Real American” music would play with the Red and Yellow marching down. Have Hogan hit the ring, get hit, do the “YOU” point, and Hulk up, nail him with a few rights, knocking him into Cena to get the scoop up for the “AA” and the win.

WWE should have set up an for Kurt Angle to take down Rusev. Unfortunately, right there will go down as one of the bigger screw ups by management in the last few years. We all wanted it – the fans were begging for it – so give him the money and the travel dates he wanted and make the fans happy.

Back to the subject at hand of what to do with Rusev next. In order of least to best, here are five choices in a perfect world what could be done with Rusev.
