Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins

This match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship would have been fine if a steel cage was involved. However, with the RKO banned, the finish of this match is destined to be messy.

With Randy Orton not being able to use his trademark move, this could signal that towards the end, he’ll get tempted to use the move and go through with it. This would cause a disqualification and likely push the finish of this match to WWE Payback.

WWE putting the result at Payback makes sense from a business perspective, as they have the WWE Network free for the month of April. Fans may be tempted to buy the Network for May to see the finish of the Seth Rollins-Orton feud.

However, the more likely scenario is a backlash from fans who criticize WWE for booking messy finishes at “B” PPV’s. They will also say that these lower-level PPV’s are only meant to set up the bigger ones.
