Three Reasons Why Dolph Ziggler Should Bolt From WWE

The ending to match between Ziggler and Sheamus on Sunday night was yet another example of how WWE continues to make a mockery of Ziggler.
Entering the match, the smart booking would suggest that Sheamus would defeat Ziggler given his character change and WWE wanting to hype him up as a top heel. That was not the case as WWE opted to give a bread crumb to Ziggler by having him defeat Sheamus.

The breadcrumb was not a full meal as Ziggler’s potential momentum from the victory was halted. After the match, Sheamus, while presumably preparing to kiss Ziggler’s arse, hit Ziggler with a low blow. Sheamus proceeded to cut a promo on Ziggler before forcing The Show Off to kiss his arse.
Last night was the perfect example of why Ziggler will never be taken seriously by those making the decisions behind the scenes in the WWE. Ziggler had the victory but WWE did not want push Ziggler’s win too far and that is why they booked the ending the way they did.
That is not the first time that WWE has deflated the momentum of a Ziggler victory.
Think back to Survivor Series. Ziggler had an incredible performance and earned the victory for Team Cena despite facing 3-1 odds. What was the end result of the victory? The Authority eventually returning and *firing* Ziggler along with the other members of Team Cena with the exception of John Cena.
In the past, the traditional survivor series match has served as a launching pad for many superstars. But because it was Ziggler, WWE took the bounce out of the pad.
WWE’s history of making a mockery of Ziggler has led to the superstar being a mid-card lifer within the company.
