Five Best Who WWE Never Had As World Champion
WWE.com
There are two names I know I didn’t include that I think will make a few of you question the list. So let me first say that I didn’t include Sting because he never wrestled in the WWE until this WrestleMania so I don’t think he should be included in the list. Yes it is a shame he never came to the WWE in his prime to wrestle HBK, Hitman in his prime, The Rock, and the Undertaker, but he was WCW’s guy so that is where he should stay.
There are a lot more Jerry The King Lawler wrestling fans than I expected, so I’m sure a few may say he should have been on here. If this was a top 10 list, I probably would have had him in around seven or eight. He was a very good wrestler in his day and when he did come into the WWE in the early 90’s to feud with Bret Hart and Doink the Clown, he was a good draw for the WWE.
Other names some may say are:
Lex Luger, who I think should have won the title at SummerSlam 1993.
Big Van Vader, who I normally would agree but I wanted to limit the years on which I focused on.
Dusty Rhodes, but I think many of you will agree a WWE Champion with yellow polka dots wouldn’t really go over so well.
Jake Roberts, like I said about Piper being a talent that didn’t need the belt to get the attention, but there is a good argument for him.
So let me know who you think I left out or who you agree with. Thanks for reading!
