Kevin Owens Explains Why He Attacked Machine Gun Kelly on RAW (Video)

Kevin Owens sat down with Michael Cole and he explained why he did what he did on Monday night

This past Monday night on WWE RAW we were treated to one of the more memorable moments that we have seen in quite some time when Kevin Owens powerbombed Machine Gun Kelly right off the stage. It was a moment that we as wrestling fans won’t soon forget, and it further cemented the fact that Owens is the best heel in the business.

Still, though, people have been asking why Owens did what he did, from a storyline standpoint, of course. Why in the world would he just attack a guest of WWE like that?

Well it just so happens that Kevin Owens was the guest of Michael Cole this week on WWE.com, and of course Cole asked him to give an explanation.

Here’s what the NXT Champion had to say:

There really is no better heel in the business at the moment than Owens, and it’s amazing to think that he’s only getting started.

Also notable from this interview was the fact that Owens made it known once again that he wants to take the United States title off of John Cena in their next meeting, making things a little more interesting.
