WWE Raw Review: SummerSlam Go-Home, Brock Lesnar’s Homecoming
WWE.com
Final Thoughts
This was an okay go-home edition of Raw before SummerSlam. It featured some decent matches and build towards matches for this Sunday.
The ending of Raw, which is supposed to sell the fans on SummerSlam, fell flat. Undertaker walking out with boos may not have been intentional. Why is his last resort to attacking Brock Lesnar a low blow? How can that be justified for a future WWE Hall of Famer?
The build for John Cena and Seth Rollins was decent with the contract signing. It didn’t lead to a brawl (probably because of Cena’s nose surgery) but both men had excellent promos. They really sold their match well.
Other than both of these, everything else had alright build. We’ll get great matches out of the under-card despite the lackluster hype for them.
