Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte vs. Dana Brooke vs. Emma

Result: Charlotte defeats Becky Lynch, Dana Brooke and Emma via pinfall

Rating: 1.8 out of 5 stars

Becky and Charlotte went right after the heels and got them out of the ring. They would briefly square off until they hit a double dropkick on Dana.

Charlotte and Becky would square off again with the latter hitting an arm drag and a lock on the arm. Charlotte would come back with wrapping her legs around Becky’s head and throwing her around the ring.

Emma and Dana would come back in the ring and begin to dominate. They got Becky and Charlotte out of the ring. They would turn to the Nature Girl and begin stomping on her.

We come back to see Dana and Emma in control of Becky in the ring. They kicked her in the back and the ribs. As Charlotte tried coming back in the ring, she kicked her out.

As Emma went to attack Becky, Dana pushed her away and began her own attack. This frustrated Emma but the two continued to work together.

It would be left to just Emma and Becky in the ring. Emma went for a pin but Dana broke it up. The two friends began fighting until Becky tried getting a roll up pin. Dana would break it up.

Dana and Emma began arguing but they slapped hands. Things looked fine until Dana hit a dropkick.

Charlotte came back in the ring and chopped her multiple times. She hit a neck-breaker on Dana and a big boot on Emma. Then she hit a double DDT and attempted multiple pinfalls.

Becky would be standing on the top rope and hit a dropkick Charlotte down. She would clothesline Emma and Dana and hit a pump handle suplex.

She would hit another suplex for a near-fall with Emma breaking it up.

Emma then tossed Becky into the corner and hit an Emma sandwich on Charlotte and Becky. Emma would get the pin on Becky.

Charlotte and Becky then locked in their submissions on both heels to stand tall.

Rob’s Note: On paper, this looked like it would be a fun match. However, this turned out to be a mess. Dana Brooke is just not good in the ring and isn’t ready for these 10+ minute matches. This match was also just chaotic.

Then there was that awkward ending, which you need to see instead of reading about it. Emma clearly wasn’t the planned winner and it was someone fault (either Dana for not breaking it up or Becky for not kicking out). We’ll probably never know the reason for this mistake but whatever the case may be, it was a bad way to end a dragged out episode of WWE NXT.

Next time they go to 90 minutes, make it more meaningful than packing in a bunch of videos, interviews and reactions. A match or two replacing some of the filler content would have helped.
