WWE Raw Review: Results, Analysis and Grades; What Happened to Seth Rollins’ Statue?
Seth Rollins and New Day vs. John Cena and Prime Time Players
Result: John Cena and Prime Time Players defeat Seth Rollins and New Day via pinfall.
Rating: 2.6 out of 5 stars
Big E and Cena began this match. Big E began with a headlock and shoulder tackle on Cena. He came back with a second one.
Cena came back with a shoulder tackle of his own but was caught and planted by Big E for a near-fall. Rollins tagged in and began stomping away on Cena. Big E and Kofi would come in for stomps of their own.
We come back to see Kofi hitting a cross-body on Cena for a near-fall. Kofi hit SOS for another near-fall. Big E then tagged in but was launched over the ropes by Cena. Rollins would tag in and hit a knee to the side of the face of Cena and taunt PTP. He stomped on Cena multiple times until Big E tagged in and hit a side slam for a near-fall.
Big E then hit a long suplex on Cena for another near-fall. E then went for a splash but Cena rolled out of the way. He would tag in Titus O’Neil, who went to work on Big E. He hit multiple shoulder tackles and a big boot. Rollins tried interfering but got dropped on the apron by Darren Young.
Titus hit a splash in the corner on Big E. Xavier Woods tried distracting but got taken out by Young.
In the ring, Big E hit a belly-to-belly suplex as Cena and Rollins then came in. Cena went for an AA but Rollins countered and went for the Pedigree. Cena countered and put on the STF. Rollins would make the tag on Kofi but Cena caught him in mid-air and hit the AA for the win.
After the match, we see Sting appear on the video board with the statue. He says Rollins never came for the statue. He turns on the lights and we see a garbage truck. He tells the driver to start it up and the trophy gets put into the the truck!
Rollins throws a temper-tantrum to end Raw.
