WWE NXT Review: Results, Grades & Analysis; Finn Balor & Samoa Joe Team
By Evan Gomes
Final Thoughts
Another solid episode of NXT television that was helped out by the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. As a huge fan of tag team wrestling, the Classic has really added some fun match-ups to the product. While I wish we could have all the matches aired on NXT television as opposed to happening in what looked like a high school gym, it makes sense to advance the story along quicker.
There are some new angles in development like the heat between Tyler Breeze and Bull Dempsey that will probably end at TakeOver. As well there is the potential for an angle between tag partners Finn Balor and Samoa Joe.
The two tag match-ups were both good matches with a lot of action. Gargano and Ciampa were both impressive in their in-ring NXT debut. Even though they won with a distraction to Bull Dempsey, they still did great work in the match itself.
What did you think of NXT this week? Who do you think will win the Dusty Rhodes Classic? Let us know in the comments below, and continue the conversation with me on twitter at @E_Gomes.
