Stephanie says all everyone is talking about is Sting competing in his first match on Raw. She says afterwards, everyone will be talking about Show. Show raises his fist and says he’s got this.
Sting vs. Big Show
Result: Sting defeats Big Show via DQ.
Sting began with multiple punches and kicks to Show. Show tried countering but couldn’t get in any offense.
Sting then hit a big DDT.
Seth Rollins would run down and cause a DQ, double-teaming Sting. John Cena would come down to make the save and this would be made a tag team match.
John Cena and Sting vs. Big Show and Seth Rollins
Result: John Cena and Sting defeat Big Show and Seth Rollins via submission.
Rating: 2.6 out of 5 stars
We come back to see Cena and Show battling. Cena attempted a shoulder tackle but Show knocked him down.
Show then hit a big slam on Cena. Cena would try lifting up Show but failed at doing so. Rollins tagged in and continued the assault on Cena. However, Mr. HLR would toss Rollins over the ropes.
Show then went to work on Cena. He hit a big chop but Cena attempted an AA and fell over.
Rollins then went to work on Cena with a few knees. Cena would get in some offense until Show tagged in and stopped him. Show then went to the second rope and hit a splash on Cena for a near-fall.
Rollins then tagged in but got hit with a clothesline by Cena. Show tagged in but planted Cena. He went for another second rope splash but missed. Cena then made the hot tag on Sting.
Sting hit a bunch of offense on Rollins with a splash and running bulldog. Show then came in and got AA’d by Cena. Sting would hit the Scorpion Death Drop and Scorpion Deathlock on Rollins for the submission win.
Rob’s Note: This was a decent match that got Sting a win. He won’t win at Night of Champions, though.
