WWE NXT Review: Results, Analysis and Grades for Sep. 23

Final Thoughts
Another solid episode of NXT television this week. The matches (aside from Eva Marie and Carmella) were good. The Dempsey-Breeze angle hopefully isn’t over, but it looks like it might be with the “Prince of Pretty” taking on Crewes at TakeOver it may well be. The angle has potential to be really good if it was given more time, but I’m really looking forward to seeing Crews in a longer match at TakeOver.
The Vaudevillains continue to be good champions, but we will most likely have to wait until after TakeOver to see who their next challengers are. The tournament has shown off tons of tag team talent in NXT, and any of them could become the next challengers. Here’s hoping it could be some of the young talented teams like Dash & Dawson or Jason Jordan & Chad Gable.
Asuka has her first angle against Dana Brooke and Emma, which if given enough time will really show off Asuka’s skill. Here’s hoping Asuka is put over as a serious challenger in the women’s division.
