Final Thoughts

While the ending of the main event did serve a good purpose to move the story with Kane forward, it has to be brought up that in the past week the WWE World Heavyweight Champion has lost three times in four matches. That can’t be smart because you need a strong champion. Rollins has being beaten three times can not be what is best for business.

The tag team division is looking the best it’s been in a very long time. New Day, the Dudleyz, Lucha Dragons, PrimeTime Players, The Ascension, and even the Wyatt Family are all strong, established teams. With the Uso’s coming back sometime in the next few months, and Los Matadores potentially getting repackaged, the tag team division has the potential to be the best part of programming for the next few months.

Paige’s heel work is next level stuff. She works best as a lone wolf heel, and her promo tonight was fantastic. Paige being the next contender will be entertaining, plus a potential feud down the line with Becky Lynch or Natalya will be a good mid-card Divas feud.

Overall, a good episode of SmackDown in my books. What did you think of the big blue brand this week? What storyline has most caught your eye this week? Let us know in the comments below, and keep the conversation going with me on twitter at @E_Gomes.
