Big Show down to the ring first and he looks ready to go. Here come the “Suplex City” chants and they only get louder when Brock Lesnar’s music hits! Both men begin by slamming into one another, two huge titans in the middle of the ring. Then Big Show easily, casually, just dumps Lesnar right over the top rope to the floor! Lesnar’s laughing, but he seems to be taking Big Show more seriously now.
Back in the ring, both men circling one another. Lesnar charges right at Big Show, only to get drilled by a couple of hard body shots. Big Show tossing Lesnar around like a rag doll. Show misses a squash in the corner, takes some shoulder blocks…Lesnar tries for the German suplex but can’t get it! Big Show with two straight choke slams on Lesnar, who keeps popping back up! A third chokeslam and the pin…1…2….Lesnar BARELY kicks out! Big Show’s loading up the knockout punch, misses, and Lesnar with the suplex! That’s one! Lesnar with a second suplex, now he’s bouncing around like he’s barely tired. Third German suplex!
Lesnar picks up Big Show, then sloppily slams him down. Obviously a botched move there. Show is slow to his feet, and now another suplex, although this one was pretty ugly. Lesnar lifts Big Show up for the F5! He hit it! 1..2…3!! Lesnar for the win!
After the match, Lesnar went up the ramp then came back out. He’s clearly not finished with the Big Show. He hops back in the ring, Big Show still looking stunned. Lesnar simply hooks him in an over-the-head belly to belly suplex like it was nothing. Then picks him up for one more F5, a much better one than he did during the match.
Travis’ Thoughts: Sloppy, short, and disappointing. This was the squash match we all expected it to be. Forget the Big Show offense in the beginning because none of thought he could win, and yet we all knew it was over the INSTANT Lesnar got the upper hand. Not a good match and a complete waste of time.
